Restore Volume Group from Snapshot for PowerStore
Use the procedure in this topic to restore volume group from snapshot for PowerStore storage system.
Steps
- Log in to the VMware vSphere Client.
- Click .

Click
Storage Systems on the left side.
The Storage Systems page is displayed.

Click the
PowerStore storage system name from the
Storage Systems page.
The details for selected PowerStore storage system are displayed.
- Click the Volume Groups tab and click the volume group name.
- Select the Snapshots tab, and select a volume group snapshot.

Click
More Actions drop down and select
Restore from Snapshot.
The Restore from Snapshot dialog box is displayed.

Click
RESTORE.
The volume group is restored using the selected volume group snapshot.NOTE You can also take a backup snapshot of the volume group being restored.
