Refresh Datastore using Datastore
Use the procedure in this topic to refresh a datastore using datastore.
Prerequisites
- Ensure at least one clone of the datastore or the datastore that is cloned and its original datastore exists in PowerStore.
Steps
- Log in to the VMware vSphere Client.
- Click .

Right-click a datastore, select

The Refresh Using Related Datastore wizard is displayed.
- In Select datastore to refresh from, select a datastore from the list of all related datastores.

Select the checkbox
Take a backup snapshot of the datastore being refreshed, it will create a snapshot on the target datastore automatically.
The target datastore will be re-signatured and the host is rescanned to mount the refreshed volume.
