PowerMax NAS Servers Registration from Dell VSI NAS Servers Tab
Use the procedure in this topic to register PowerMax NAS servers from the Dell VSI NAS Servers tab .
Steps
- Log in to the VMware vSphere Client.
- Click .

Click
NAS Servers tab on the left side.
The NAS Servers page is displayed. It displays all the registered NAS servers.NOTE The NAS Servers tab on the left side is enabled after registering PowerMax storage system which supports NAS Servers.

On the
NAS Servers page, click the
+ (add) icon.
The Register NAS Servers dialog box is displayed.
To register the NAS servers, follow the on-screen step by step process.
- In the Storage Systems step, select the PowerMax storage system. Click NEXT.
- In the Select NAS Servers step, select the NAS Server from the list and click NEXT.

In the
Storage Access step, all the users/groups along with their role/privileges are displayed. To grant access to the NAS servers, select the user/group and click
NEXT.
- In the Ready to Register step, review the details, and click FINISH.
