Mount Datastores to Additional Hosts

Use the procedure in this topic to mount datastores to additional hosts.

Steps

  1. Log in to the VMware vSphere Client.
  2. Click Menu > Storage.
  3. Select a NFS datastore, click Configure > Dell VSI > Storage.
    The Storage Details tab displays details of the selected datastore.
  4. Click Access and Connectivity tab. The hosts that have access to NFS datastore are displayed.
    NOTE You can edit the default access mode by clicking the EDIT button.
  5. To mount, click the + (Mount) icon.
    The Mount Datastores to Additional Hosts dialog box is displayed.
  6. Select the hosts from the list of available hosts and set the access mode for the hosts. Click MOUNT.
    The datastore is mounted to the selected hosts.
    NOTE To mount to additional hosts, default access mode cannot be No Access. It can be readonly or root.
