Monitoring Performance for PowerStore VMFS Datastore
Use the procedure in this topic to monitor the performance metric for PowerStore VMFS datastore.
Steps
- Log in to the VMware vSphere Client.
- Click .

Select the VMFS datastore , click
.
Select the Performance tab, it displays the following performance metrics:
- Latency
- IOPS
- Bandwidth
- IO Size
- Queue Depth
Each metric has a respective historical usage widget. You can select and deselect the metrics to customize your view. You can select the time range from the drop down, select any time range between last hour to last 2 years.
You can edit the Performance Policy, click edit and you can select High, Medium, or Low based on your requirement.
This widget also provides an option to download the performance chart in different image formats. Click the menu option in the widget to select the image format you wish to download.
