Manage Unity Storage System
This chapter provides information about managing Unity storage system, Unity storage pools, Unity Capability profiles, and Unity NAS Servers.
The following functions are supported for Unity storage system:
- Register Unity storage system
- Unregister Unity storage system
- Edit Unity storage system
- View Unity storage system details
- Register VASA provider during storage system registration
- View VASA provider registration status
- Edit VASA provider registration
NOTE VASA provider registration is also supported for linked mode vCenters.
You can create a thin clone for datastore and snapshot. You can refresh datastore using snapshot and datastore and copy snapshot.
You can view the status of hosts in the storage system page.
