Edit Snapshot
Learn how to edit snapshot using VSI.
Prerequisites
- Snapshot must be created.
Steps
- Log in to the VMware vSphere Client.
- Click .
- Select the VMFS datastore, click .
- Click Snapshots tab, the Snapshots tab displays the list of snapshots that are created on the datastore.

Select the snapshot that you want to edit. Click
Edit (pencil).
The Edit Snapshot dialog box is displayed. You can edit the Name, Local Retention Policy, and Description. Click SAVE. The selected snapshot is now modified successfully.
