Edit Snapshot
Learn how to edit snapshot using VSI.
Prerequisites
- Snapshot must be created.
Steps
- Log in to the VMware vSphere Client.
- Click .
- Select the VMFS or NFS datastore, click .
- Click Snapshots tab, it displays the list of snapshots that are created on the datastore.

Select the snapshot that you want to edit. Click
Edit (pencil).
The Edit Snapshot dialog box is displayed. You can edit the Name and Local Retention Policy. Click OK to save the changes.NOTE The Local Retention Policy cannot be edited if the snapshot has clones.
