Connect Hosts to MDMs

Use the procedure in this topic to connect hosts to MDMs.

1. Log in to the VMware vSphere Client.
2. Click Menu > Dell VSI.
3. Click Storage Systems on the left side.
   The Storage Systems page displays the registered storage systems.
4. Click the PowerFlex storage system name to view the details.
5. To view the hosts associated with PowerFlex storage system, click the Hosts tab.
   The Hosts tab displays the hosts associated with the storage system.
6. Select the hosts that have the SDC Status as Installed and MDM Status as Disconnected.
7. Click More Actions > Connect to Mdm(s).
   The Connect to Mdm(s) dialog box is displayed.
8. On the Connect to Mdm(s) dialog box, click View Hosts and MDM IPs.
   You will see Hosts and MDM IPs tabs.

   NOTE The hosts and IP in the Hosts and MDM IPs tabs cannot be edited.

   These tabs display the hosts and MDM IPs that indicate which host connects to which MDM.
9. Click CONNECT.
   Once the operation is completed, you must reboot the host.
