Unmap Host from Volume Group Members

Use the procedure in this topic to unmap host from volume group members.

Steps

  1. Log in to the VMware vSphere Client.
  2. Click Menu > Dell VSI.
  3. Click Storage Systems on the left side.
    The Storage Systems page is displayed.
  4. Click the PowerStore storage system name from the Storage Systems page.
    The details for selected PowerStore storage system are displayed.
  5. Click the Volume Groups tab and click the volume group name.
    The list of volume group members are listed in the Members tab.
  6. Select volume group member(s) that you want to map, click Actions drop down.
    NOTE You cannot perform any action on the volume group members that are not associated with datastore.
  7. Click Unmap.
    The Unmap Hosts dialog box is displayed and it lists the hosts that are mapped to the volume group.
  8. Select host(s) that you want to unmap and click UNMAP.
    The selected hosts are unmapped from the volume group members.
