Set Host Best Practices

Use the procedure in this topic to set host best practices.

1. Log in to the VMware vSphere Client.
2. Click Menu > Dell VSI.
3. Click Storage Systems on the left side.
   The Storage Systems page is displayed.
4. Click the storage system name and click Hosts tab.
5. In the Hosts tab, the Best Practices column displays the status of host settings.
6. Click the Edit (Pencil) button.
   The Host Best Practices for PowerStore dialog box is displayed.
7. Select the settings that you want to apply the host best practices and click SAVE.
   NOTE The table displays the list of settings and the values for each of the settings from the host. The settings with warning icon do not meet the best practices.
