Register VSI Plug-in without SSL
This topic provides information about how to register the VSI plug-in without using SSL.
Steps
- Deploy the ova file, see Deploying the VSI Plug-in for steps to deploy the ova file.
- Login to IAPI server through SSH.

Power On the IAPI server and run the following command:
python3 /opt/scripts/register_extension.py -ignoressl True -vcenter <vcenterIp> -username <vcenterUsername> -password <vcenterPassword>
The Dell VSI is registered. - To view the VSI plug-in, login to the vCenter and the Dell VSI plug-in is displayed under Menu.
