Modify Host Connectivity Setting PowerStore Metro

Use the procedure in this topic to modify host connectivity setting for PowerStore appliances.

Steps

  1. Log in to the VMware vSphere Client.
  2. Click Menu > Dell VSI.
  3. Click Storage Systems on the left side.
    The Storage Systems page is displayed.
  4. Click the PowerStore storage system name from the Storage Systems page.
    The details for selected PowerStore storage system are displayed.
  5. Click the Hosts tab.
    The details of all the hosts configured is displayed.
  6. To modify the host connectivity, click the More Actions drop down and select Modify Host Connectivity.
    The Modify Host Connectivity dialog box is displayed.
  7. Select the host connectivity type and click SAVE.
    The host connectivity setting is updated and displayed in the Hosts tab.
    NOTE If the host connectivity type is selected as Metro, the metro type is calculated by systems selected. You can select systems by clicking Select System(s) in the Modify Host Connectivity dialog box.
