Delete Snapshot
Learn how to delete snapshots created for datastores.
Prerequisites
- VMFS datastore must exist.
- Snapshot must exist.
Steps
- Log in to the VMware vSphere Client.
- Click .
- Select the VMFS datastore, click .
- Click Snapshots tab, the Snapshots tab displays the list of snapshots that are created on the datastore.

Select the snapshot that you want to delete from the list of snapshots displayed. Click
X (Delete).
The Delete Snapshot dialog box is displayed.

Click
DELETE.
The selected snapshot is deleted.
