Delete PowerStore Protection Policies
Use the procedure in this topic to delete the protection policies for PowerStore storage system.
Prerequisites
Only a storage owner can delete the protection policy.
Steps
- Log in to the VMware vSphere Client.
- Click .

Click
Storage Systems on the left side.
The Storage Systems page is displayed.

Select the
Dell PowerStore storage system.
The storage system details are displayed.

Select the
Protection tab and click the drop-down to select
Protection Policies.
The details for Protection Policies are displayed.

Select the protection policies from the list of available protection policies and click
X (Delete) icon.
The Delete Protection Policy dialog box is displayed.NOTE You can delete multiple protection policies by selecting the check boxes.

Click
DELETE to confirm the deletion of selected protection policies.
The selected protection policies are deleted.NOTE You cannot delete a protection policy which is read-only or applied to a storage resource (datastore/VM).
