Installing the optical drive

Prerequisites

Installing the Optical Disk Drive

Steps

  1. Slide and install the optical drive into its slot on the chassis.
  2. Replace the single screw (M2x3) that secure the optical drive to the chassis.
  3. Connect the optical-drive power cable to the connector on the optical drive.
  4. Connect the optical-drive data cable to the connector on the optical drive.
