Removing the media card reader
Prerequisites
- Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
- Remove the side cover.
- Remove the front bezel.
- Remove the HDD/ODD bracket.

Steps
- Unroute the PSU power cable from over the SD card reader.
- Remove the two M3x5 screws securing the SD card reader to the chassis.
- Lift and remove the SD card reader from the system board.
