Installing the HDD/ODD bracket
Prerequisites
About this task
The following images indicate the location of the HDD/ODD bracket and provides a visual representation of the installation procedure:
Steps
- Align and place the ODD bracket on the system unit chassis and connect the ODD SATA and power connectors
- Push the ODD bracket into the chassis.
- Snap the ODD bracket aligning the holes on the ODD bracket with that on the chassis.
- Replace the single #6-32 screw securing the ODD to the chassis.
- Tuck the power SATA cables along the tabs of the ODD bracket.
