Removing the DC-in port
Prerequisites
- Follow the procedure in before working inside your computer.
- Remove the base cover.
- Remove the battery.

Steps
- Remove the two screws (M2.5x5) and (M2.5x4) that secure the left display hinge to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
- Open the left display hinge at an angle of 90 degrees.
- Disconnect the DC-in port cable from the system board.
- Remove the single screw (M2x3) that secures the DC-in port to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
- Lift the DC-in port, along with its cable, off the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
