Installing the DC-in port
Prerequisites
If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.

Steps
- Place the DC-in port on the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
- Replace the single screw (M2x3) that secures the DC-in port to the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
- Connect the DC-in port cable to the system board.
- Using the alignment posts, close the left display hinge.
- Replace the two screws (M2.5x5) and (M2.5x4) that secure the left display hinge to the system board.
