Removing the fan

1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the:
   1. back cover
   2. battery
   3. WLAN card
3. To remove the fan:
   1. Disconnect the I/O board and system board cables from the connectors on the system board [1] [2].
   2. Unroute the WLAN connector cables from the fan module [3].
   
4. To remove the fan:
   1. Disconnect the fan connector cable from the system board [1].
   2. Remove the screws that secure the system fan to the system board [2].
   3. Lift and remove the system fan from the computer [3].
