Removing the power button

Prerequisites

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the SD card.
  3. Remove the base cover .
  4. Remove the battery
  5. Remove the WLAN card
  6. Remove the thermal plate
  7. Remove the display assembly
  8. Remove the power button board

Steps

  1. Remove the M2x2 screw that secure the power button to the palm rest and keyboard assembly [1].
