Removing the I/O board

  1. Disconnect the coin-cell battery cable from the I/O board [1].
  2. Open the latch and disconnect the I/O-board cable from the system board [2]. Image: Removing the I/O board
  3. Remove the two screws (M2x4) that secure the I/O board to the palm rest and keyboard assembly [1].
