Removing the power connector

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the:
    1. Battery
    2. Optical drive
    3. Keyboard
    4. Base cover
    5. Hard drive assembly
    6. WLAN card
    7. Memory module
    8. Heat sink
    9. System fan
    10. Coin cell battery
    11. System board
  3. To remove the power connector:
    1. Lift the cable from the slot [1].
    2. Remove the 1 (M2x3) screw that secures the power connector to the computer [2].
    3. Lift the power connector [3].
