Removing the Input and Output board

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the:
    1. Battery
    2. Optical drive
    3. Keyboard
    4. Base cover
    5. Hard drive assembly
  3. To remove the Input/Output board (I/O board):
    1. Disconnect the I/O board cable [1].
    2. Remove 1 (M2x3) screw [2]
    3. Lift and remove the I/O board from the computer [3].
