Removing the power connector

  1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
  2. Remove the:
    1. Battery
    2. Optical drive
    3. Keyboard
    4. Base cover
    5. WLAN card
    6. Coin cell battery
    7. Heat sink
    8. Memory module
    9. System board
  3. To remove the power connector:
    1. Remove the M2.5x8 screw and lift the display hinge from the chassis [1,2]
    2. Unroute the cable [3].
    3. Remove the screw that secures the power connector to the computer [4].
    4. Lift the power connector [5].
