Removing the display assembly

1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the:
   1. Battery
   2. Optical drive
   3. Keyboard
   4. Base cover
   5. WLAN card
3. To remove the display assembly:
   1. Peel the adhesive tape[1].
   2. Unroute the WLAN cable [2].
   3. Peel the white adhesive tape [3].
   4. Lift the locking tab and disconnect the eDP cable [4].
   
4. Flip the computer.
   
5. To remove the display assembly:
   NOTE Place the chassis on the edge of a table with the display facing down.
   1. Remove and lift the 3 (M2.5x8) screws that secure the display hinges to the computer [1].
   2. Lift and remove the display assembly [2].
