Removing the WLAN Card

  1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer.
  2. Remove:
    1. battery
    2. access panel
  3. Perform the following steps as shown in the illustration:
    1. Remove the screw that secures the WLAN card to the system board [1,2].
    2. Remove the two connectors that secure the WLAN card to the system board [3].
    3. Remove the WLAN card from its socket [4].
