Removing the display assembly

1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the:
   1. base cover
   2. battery
   3. WLAN
   4. system fan
3. To remove the display assembly:
   1. Peel the adhesive tape that secures the IO board cable to the IO board connector [1].
   2. Open the IO board connector latch and disconnect the IO board cable from the connector on the IO board [2].
   3. Peel the adhesive tape that secures the display cable to the display cable connector [3].
   4. Open the display cable connector latch and disconnect the display cable from the connector on the system board [4].
      
   5. Unroute the WLAN antenna cable from the routing channel [1].
   6. Remove the four (M2.5x5) screws that secure the display hinges to the palmrest and keyboard assembly [2].
      
   7. Carefully lift the palm-rest and keyboard assembly.
      
   8. Slide and remove the palm-rest and keyboard assembly from the system.
