Installing the memory modules
Prerequisites
About this task
The following images indicate the location of the memory modules and provides a visual representation of the installation procedure.
Steps
- Align the slot on the memory module with the notch on the memory module slot on the system board.
- Slide the memory module into the slot on the system board.
- Press down on the memory module to snap it into place.
- Ensure that the securing clips have locked the memory module into place.
NOTE If the securing clips are not locking the memory module into place remove the memory module from the slot and repeat steps 1 to 3.
- Repeat the procedure above for the second memory module.

- Reconnect the battery.
- Install the base cover.
