View Amount of Space Saved by Data Reduction on a Volume
The percentage of space saved by data reduction for a volume is an estimate found by comparing the total amount of space saved by compression and deduplication with the total amount of space processed by data reduction in the volume.
Steps
- If you are connected to a Data Collector, select a Storage Center from the drop-down list in the left navigation pane of Unisphere Central.
- From the
STORAGE menu, click
Volumes.
The Volumes view is displayed. - In the Volumes view, select the volume you want to view.
- Click the Tiering tab. The amount of space saved by data reduction on that volume is displayed at the bottom of the Tiering page.
