Expire a Snapshot Manually
If you no longer need a snapshot and you do not want to wait for it to be expired based on the snapshot profile, you can expire it manually.
Steps
- Click the Storage tab.
- If you are connected to a Data Collector, select a Storage Center from the drop-down list in the left navigation pane of Unisphere Central.
- From the
STORAGE menu, click
Volumes.
The Volumes view is displayed. - On the Volumes pane, select the volume you want to modify.
- Click the Snapshots tab.
- Select the snapshot you want to expire, then click Expire. The Expire dialog box opens.
- Click Yes to expire the selected snapshot.
