Change the Operating System of a Server
If you installed a new operating system or upgraded the operating system on a server, update the corresponding server object accordingly.
Steps
- If you are connected to a Data Collector, select a Storage Center from the drop-down list in the left navigation pane of Unisphere Central.
- From the
STORAGE menu, click
Servers.
The Servers view is displayed. - Select the server.
- Click
(Edit).The Edit Server dialog box opens. - Select the operating system for the server from the Operating System drop-down list.
- Click OK.
