Change the Connection Timeout for a Registered Windows Server

You can configure the maximum time in seconds that Unisphere Central waits for a response for queries that are sent to the Server Agent.

Steps

  1. If a Storage Center is selected from the drop-down list in Unisphere Central, click Home button(Home).
    The Unisphere CentralHome page is displayed.
  2. From the Storage iconSTORAGE menu, click Servers.
    The Servers view is displayed.
  3. Click the Registered Servers tab.
  4. In the Registered Servers view, select a Windows Server.
  5. Click (Edit Windows Server).
  6. In the Connection Timeout field, type a new timeout in seconds.
    • The default is 300 seconds.
    • The minimum value is 180 seconds.
    • The maximum value is 1200 seconds.
  7. Click OK.
