Change a Volume/Server Mapping to Read-Only
To prevent a server from writing to a volume, change the volume/server mapping to read-only.
Steps
- If you are connected to a Data Collector, select a Storage Center from the drop-down list in the left navigation pane of Unisphere Central.
- From the
STORAGE menu, click
Volumes.
The Volumes view is displayed. - On the Volumes view, select the volume you want to modify.
- Click the Mappings tab.
- Select
the server for which you want to modify mapping settings, then click
(Edit). The Edit Volume Mapping Settings dialog box opens. - Select the The volume should be presented as read-only to the server checkbox.
- Click OK.
