Dell Storage Management Pack Version 4.1 for Microsoft System Center Operations Manager Administrator’s Guide
Install the WMI Provider
Use the following procedure to install the Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) Provider.
NOTE:Dell Storage Manager administrator-level user privileges are required to install the WMI Provider.
- Go to the directory where you extracted the contents of the .zip file and double-click the
Dell Storage Management Pack.msi file to start the installation wizard.
The Dell Storage Management Pack installation wizard starts and the Welcome page opens.

- Click
Next. The
License Agreement page opens.

- To continue the installation, read the license terms, select the
I accept the terms in the license agreement check box, and then click
Next. The
Custom Setup page opens.

- Clear the Dell Storage Management Pack for SCOM and Dell VMM Storage Management Pack for SCOM options.
- Select Dell Storage WMI Provider for installation and then click Next.
- (Optional) Click
Change to change the default installation folder and then click
Next. The
Ready to Install the Program page opens.

- Click Install.
- When the installation is complete, click Finish.
