Creating and
saving remote desktop connection
To create and save a remote desktop connection to a Windows
Storage Server:
Steps
- On the taskbar, click Start, and then type Run in the search box and press enter.
The Run dialog box
is displayed.
- In the Run dialog box, type MSTSC, and then click OK.
The Remote Desktop Connection window is displayed.
- In the Remote Desktop Connection window, type
the computer name or IP address of the storage system, and then click Options.
The Connection Settings window is displayed.
- In the Remote Desktop Connection window, click Save As in the Connection Settings dialog box.
The Save As window
is displayed.
- In File name, type a name for the connection,
and leave the extension as.rdp.
- From the Save-in drop-down menu, select Desktop and click Save.
