Platform requirements
Solutions Enabler for z/OS runs on all IBM supported releases of z/OS, and it requires a pre-existing SMP/E environment.
Some of the z/OS components that Solutions Enabler for z/OS uses are:
- Language Environment services.
- UNIX System Services socket support.
- TCP/IP protocol stack.
NOTE:
Only IBM TCP/IP has been qualified by Dell. Support for other TCP/IP protocol stacks must be requested through the Dell Request for Price Quotation (RPQ) process.
There are no special requirements to enable IBM TCP/IP support.
