Enable the anti-affinity rules on CloudLink Center

Use this procedure to enable the anti-affinity rules on CloudLink Center.

About this task

Use this procedure to temporarily enable the anti-affinity rules that prevent CloudLink VMs from residing on the same host. Perform this procedure only if the anti-affinity rules were disabled prior to the upgrade.

Steps

  1. Log in to the VMware vSphere Client using the administrator credentials (or a user with permissions to modify the necessary rules).
  2. From VMware vSphere Client, log in to the vCSA, click Menu > Shortcuts > Hosts and Clusters.
  3. Browse to the cluster and click Configure.
  4. Under Configuration, select VM/Host Rules, and locate the CloudLink anti-affinity rules and click Edit....
  5. In the new dialog box, select Enabled and click OK to enable the anti-affinity rules.
