Rename hosts
About this task
The host name must adhere to the following rules:
- Contains less than 32 characters
- Contains only alphanumeric and punctuation characters
- Is unique within the object type
Steps
- On the menu bar, click .
- In the list of hosts, select the relevant host, and click .
- In the Rename Host dialog box, enter the new name, and click Apply.
- Verify that the operation has finished and was successful, and click Dismiss.
