Lock and unlock snapshots
You can lock auto snapshots (snapshots created automatically by a snapshot policy) so that they are not removed by the auto removal process. You can unlock the snapshots later, so that they can be automatically removed.
About this task
NOTE:If a snapshot policy is displayed for the snapshot in the
Snapshot Policy column of the snapshots list, it is an auto snapshot.
Steps
- On the menu bar, click .
- In the list of snapshots, select the desired snapshot, and then click .
- In the Lock/Unlock snapshot dialog box, click Apply.
- Verify that the operation has finished and was successful, and click Dismiss.
