Upgrade SDC on VMware ESXi
Use the below procedures to upgrade SDC on ESXi.
Prerequisites
The required installation software package for your operating system of SDC (available from the zipped software packages that can be downloaded from the Customer Support site)
NOTE:This procedure is only applicable for unmanaged SDC that may require manual updates.
Steps
- Copy the .VIB file to the VMware ESXi.

Run the following command:
esxcli software vib update -d <path_to_zip>
Where <path_to_zip> is the path to the SDC .zip file.
- Reboot the server.
