Upgrade SDC on Linux and AIX
Use the below procedures to upgrade SDC on Linux and AIX.
Prerequisites
The required installation software package for your SDC's operating system (available from the zipped software packages that can be downloaded from the customer support site)
NOTE:Do not reboot cluster members that are serving as part of a co-res cluster after installing a new SDC. For more information, see
Preparing a PowerFlex management node for maintenance.
Steps
Install the appropriate package for your Linux distribution.
For example:
rpm -Uvh EMC-ScaleIO-sdc-4.5-x.x.rpm
NOTE:If the SDC service fails after the PowerFlex gateway upgrade, reboot the SDC server.
