Download PowerFlex installation packages
Use this procedure to download and extract the installation bundle if you are deploying a PowerFlex cluster outside of PowerFlex Manager.
About this task
Based on the deployment scenario, download either of the following PowerFlex installation packages:
- Use the following packages for vSphere, co-resident, and Linux deployments:
- Software_Only_Complete_4.5.x.x.zip— Contains core PowerFlex software and compliance(GPG) file
- Use the following package for VMware vSphere or virtualized deployments:
- PowerFlex_Manager_4.5.x.x.zip— Contains the OVA templates for the Installer node and for the management node
- Use the following package for deploying with a bare metal Linux installation:
- PFMP2-4.5.x.x-249.tgz— Contains the files and scripts for PowerFlex Manager deployment (bare-metal)
Steps
- From the Dell Technologies Support site, download the installation bundle for this version of PowerFlex.
- Copy the installation bundle to your personal computer or desktop.
- Extract the installation bundle.
