Using SCLI in non-secure mode

If PowerFlex is running in non-secure mode, you must disable secure communications on every MDM server to enable execution of commands.

  • To disable secure communications in Windows, on each MDM open the SCLI conf.txt file, and add the following line:
    cli_use_secure_communication=0
  • To disable secure communications in Linux, run the following on each MDM:
    echo cli_use_secure_communication=0 >> ~/.scli/conf.txt
NOTE:Changing from secure mode to non-secure mode after renewing certificates is not supported.
