Modify PowerFlex file nodes

Modify the settings of a PowerFlex file node.

Syntax

powerflex_cli nas-servers modify [parameters]

Parameters

-h, --help
Help for modifying PowerFlex file nodes.
--id string
Unique identifier of the PowerFlex file node.
--session name [string]
Session name. The default name is "default".
--session token [string]
Secret session token.
--current_unix_directory_service string
Define the Unix directory service used for looking up identity information for Unix such as UIDs, GIDs, net groups, and so on. Options are:
  • None
  • NIS
  • LDAP
  • Local_Files
  • Local_Then_NIS
  • Local_Then_LDAP
--default_unix_user string
Default Unix user name used for granting access in case of Windows to Unix user mapping failu re. When empty, access in such case is denied.
--default_windows_user string
Default Windows user name used for granting access in case of Unix to Windows user mapping fa ilure. When empty, access in such case is denied.
--description string
Description of the PowerFlex file node.
--is_auto_user_mapping_enabled
A Windows user must have a corresponding matching UNIX user (uid) in order to connect. This attribute enables you to automatically generate the UNIX user (uid), if the Windows user does not have any in the configured UNIX directory service (UDS). In a pure SMB or non multi-protocol environment, this msut be set to true.
--is_username_translation_enabled
Enable the possibility to match a Windows account with an UNIX account with different names.
--name string

Name of the PowerFlex file node. Use alphanumeric characters only.

--production_IPv4_interface_id string
Unique identifier of the preferred IPv4 production interface.
--production_IPv6_interface_id string
Unique identifier of the preferred IPv6 production interface.
--backup_IPv4_interface_id string
Unique identifier of the preferred IPv4 backup interface.
--backup_IPv6_interface_id string
Unique identifier of the preferred IPv6 backup interface.
