Create file interface routes

Create and configure a new file interface route.

Syntax

powerflex_cli file-interface-routes [command options]

Parameters

-h, --help
Help for creating file interface route. There are three route types— subnet, default, and host.

-h, --help help for file-interface-routes

  • The default route establishes a static route to a default gateway. To create a default route, provide only the default gateway IP address. -h, --help help for file-interface-routes
  • The host route establishes a static route to a specific host. To create a host route, provide the IP address of the specific host in the destination field, and the gateway. -h, --help help for file-interface-routes
  • The subnet route establishes a static route to a particular subnet. To create a subnet route, provide the IP address of the target subnet in the destination, the prefix length for that subnet, and the gateway. -h, --help help for file-interface-routes
--file_interface_id [string]
Unique identifier of the associated file interface.
--destination [int32]
IPv4 or IPv6 address of the target network node based on the specific route type. Values are:
  • For a default route, there is no value because the system will use the specified gateway IP address.
  • For a host route, the value is the host IP address.
  • For a subnet route, the value is a subnet IP address.
--gateway [string]
IP address of the gateway associated with the route.
--prefix_length [int32]
IPv4 or IPv6 prefix length for the route.
--session name [string]
Session name. The default name is "default".
--session token [string]
Secret session token.
