PowerFlex user roles

PowerFlex supports the following user roles:

• Superuser
• Security
• Administrator
• Configure (an aggregate of both FrontendConfigure and BackendConfigure) - native authentication only
• FrontendConfigure
• BackendConfigure
• Monitor

Each role is associated with different activities and commands, as explained in more detail in Command authorization. The manner in which roles are defined depends on whether native (local) or LDAP authentication is used, as explained in the following topic.
