PDF

Confirm the LDAP server is accessible and ldp.exe is installed.

Ensure that the PowerFlex Gateway has access to the PowerFlex LDAP server and that ldp.exe is installed on the Gateway host.

Steps

  1. On the PowerFlex Gateway host, ensure that it is possible to establish a TCP connection to the LDAP server's address.
  2. Confirm that the ldp.exe tool is installed. If it is not present, install it:
    1. Open the Server Manager, and On the Manage menu of the Server Manager console, click Add Roles and Features Wizard, and then click Next three times until you see the Add Roles and Features Wizard.
    2. Select the Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services check box, and then click Next.
NOTE:When you choose to install the Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services, it automatically selects and installs the .NET 3.5 Framework, unless it is already installed.
    3. Click Add Features, and then click Next three times, until the Confirm installation selections window appears.
    4. Click Install.
    5. When the installation finishes, click Close.
