PowerFlex Gateway upgrade prerequisites
Before upgrading the PowerFlex Gateway, ensure that Oracle JRE 1.8 build 301, or OpenJDK JDK 8 build 302.b08, is installed on the node.
NOTE:If you want to upgrade
OpenJDK to version 11 (Linux only), do so after upgrade of the
PowerFlex Gateway.
NOTE:If Java is already installed, check the existing version of Java by running the following command:
java -version
For example, install the Oracle JRE file relevant for the node's operating system:
- Windows: jre-8uXX-windows-x64.exe
- Linux: rpm -i /var/tmp/jre-8uXX-linux-x64.rpm
